Participate in our festive Día de los Muertos Celebration Procession today, November 4, from Mariachi Plaza in Boyle Heights to Civic Center Park in East Los Angeles on the train, with surprise guests along the stops!  

Meet up at Mariachi Plaza between 1:45PM-2:00 PM, where we will begin with a traditional danza blessing by Danza Chicomecoatl, then take the Metro L Line train to East LA Civic Center Park at 2:30 PM.

We look forward to seeing you at our 50th Annual Día de los Muertos Celebration TODAY Saturday, November 4 from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Civc Center Park in East LA! Come in your favorite Day of the Dead fashion and wear comfortable shoes for a day at the park.

Los Angeles County Civic Center park is located at 4801 E 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90022, across from the Metro L Line East LA Civic Center Station, at 3rd Street and Mednik Avenue.

This year experience our opening danza blessing at Civic Center by Danza Ketzaliztli (3PM) and live performances with music by Mariachi Mata (3:30PM), Cambalache (4PM), Nepantla (5PM) and Tease (6PM)!

We would also like to thank the Interpreter Education Program at East LA College who will provide live ASL interpretation for our community, from our performance stage.

Self Help Graphics & Art has been leading Día de los Muertos public commemorations since the early 1970’s. It’s been home to generations of individuals and families who have learned traditional arts in celebration of the season, a place where artists and artisans share their creations with the public in honor of this special time, and a season of collective reflection and Celebration.
