Cesar E Chavez Ave. LA, CA. 90022. Street parking available. The exhibition will be on view from Saturday, May 4- Saturday, May 18, 2024. The gallery is open Thursday-Saturday from 11AM-7PM.

Tonalli Studio, owned and operated by Ofelia Esparza, Rosanna Esparza Ahrens and the Esparza family, is located in the heart of East Los Angeles. Tonalli is a place of creative wellness that is proud to feature art exhibitions and wellness workshops that spring from the cultural traditions reflecting the indigenous roots of its community. The gallery features local artists, authors, poets, culture bearers, healers, and cultivators aligned with honoring Mother Earth.

Join us for a music festival on Sunday, June 2 from 12PM-4PM, in connection with The Re-Membering Generation: 1990's LA Chicana/o/x Music exhibition at Plaza de la Raza!

Curated by Grammy award-winning musician/community historian Quetzal Flores, the exhibition pairs eight duets (a visual artist with a musician) to produce original songs and serigraph prints inspired by their conversations, reflections, and memories of the LA music scene of the late 90s. The music festival will feature performances by artists in the exhibition, such as Alice Bag, Aztlan Underground, Gustavo Avina, Lysa Flores, Quetzal Flores, Randy Rodarte, Raul Pacheco and Tylana Renga.
