This year's cohort welcomes four new artivistas: Nat Ayala (all pronouns welcome), Abril Olalde (she/her), Karen Perez (she/her), Maddy Rubio (she/her), artists with a breadth of experience including previous participation in our Youth Committee program. 

They began their internship in June 2025, and are currently conceptualizing an art project benefiting community members impacted by the ICE raids in Los Angeles. This art project, which we’ll share more on soon, is being produced in collaboration with Eastside LEADS’ campaigns and community members!

Join us for our monthly Family Workshop at the East Los Angeles County Library where teaching artist Oscar Rodriguez will lead a Stencil Screen Printing workshop. Participants will learn how to create a handmade stencil and have it printed on a 11x17 poster with vibrant ink. Come and create fun designs and a one-of-a-kind poster to take home!
