Ready to help?

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Assist artists during workshops.

  • Be an ambassador to the public during events.

  • Check-in guests for exhibition openings and special events.

  • Set up and break down events and programs.

Volunteers must be:

  • 15 years or older.

  • Reliable and on time.

  • Open to trying new things and learning about Chicana/o/x and Latinx art.

Self Help Graphics & Art is looking for volunteers who can become year-round ambassadors of our mission and work. This core group of volunteers will be trained to assist staff at all levels and is perfect for undergraduate or graduate students interested in learning more about the nonprofit arts field, art education, program management, and community building.
