“Migrating Animals” Embroidered Patches by Nat Ayala

“Migrating Animals” Embroidered Patches by Nat Ayala
"Adapted from my poster series “Nature Migrates, and So Do We,” these 3" x 3" patches are hand-embroidered on 100% recycled cotton. Each one carries the texture of care, craft, and resistance. Inspired by punk’s DIY ethos, they’re meant to be hand-sewn by the wearer onto any article of clothing. What’s more punk than activism and self-expression?
These patches are made to move with the wearer: stitch them onto jackets, bags, or whatever you claim as your canvas. Created to be worn at protests, in the streets, or in everyday life, they serve as small emblems of solidarity with all who journey. A reminder that migration is not a crime, but a natural, enduring act—woven into the fabric of life itself."
Each 3"x3" piece is screen printed on repurposed cotton shirts, carefully hand-cut, and finished with detailed hand embroidery.
